This policy explains what information Leadz collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Leadz website and service at leadz.work.
Leadz is operated by Eleven89, LLC ("Leadz", "we", "us"). Leadz connects customers who request a local service with businesses that provide it. Businesses ("clients") use Leadz to receive and claim those customer requests ("leads"). You can reach us at support@leadz.work.
From clients. When a business signs up we collect the business name, the contact person's name, email address, mailing address, and, if you choose to enable text alerts, a mobile phone number. We also keep a record of the service categories and areas you have asked to receive leads for.
From customers requesting a service. When a customer submits a request through one of our intake forms or partner sites we collect the details they provide, such as name, phone number, email address, address or service area, and a description of the work they need.
Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive a record of each transaction (amount, date, last four digits of the card, and status) but we do not store full card numbers.
Usage information. We log when notification emails are opened, when customer request pages are viewed, and when text messages are sent, so we can confirm delivery and troubleshoot problems. Like most websites we also record standard server logs, including IP address and browser type.
Cookies. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.
Program description. Clients who opt in receive automated account notification text messages from Leadz, sent when a new customer request in their service category and area is added to their account. Each message contains a short description of the request and a link to view it in the account.
How you opt in. You opt in by entering your mobile phone number and checking the "Text message notifications" box in your account settings. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of using Leadz.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies. You will receive one message per new customer request added to your account, and no more than one message per request.
Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier's standard messaging and data rates apply to messages you receive from Leadz.
Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You can also turn off text notifications at any time in your account settings. After you opt out you will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed.
Help. Reply HELP to any message, or email support@leadz.work, for assistance.
No sharing of mobile information. Mobile phone numbers and text messaging opt-in consent collected for this program are not shared with, sold to, or otherwise disclosed to any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with our text messaging service provider to the extent needed to deliver messages to you.
We share customer request details with the client that claims that lead, so the business can follow up with the customer. That is the purpose of the service.
We also share information with service providers that help us run Leadz, and only as needed for them to do so: Stripe for payment processing, Amazon Web Services for hosting, email delivery, and text message delivery. These providers may not use your information for their own purposes.
We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights and safety of Leadz, our clients, or others.
We do not sell personal information. As stated above, mobile phone numbers and SMS consent are never shared with third parties for their marketing.
We keep client account information for as long as the account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to handle billing questions and legal obligations. Lead records and transaction history are retained as business records. You can ask us to delete your account information by emailing support@leadz.work.
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), one-time sign-in links instead of stored passwords, and limit access to personal information to people who need it to operate the service. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Leadz is a business service and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top. Material changes will also be sent to the email address on your account.
